This new series of highly manipulated digital photographs and video stills explores the theme of man's desire to control his surroundings via technology as well as my own motivations for the treatment of my images. Processed through re-wired video circuitry and arranged via computer, the electronic nature of the work is laid bare thru the deliberate misuse of technology. Encoded within the work are references to electronic communication, mass media, spirituality, religion, architecture, and science. The work itself does not seek to provide answers but instead provoke questions regarding our relationships to the technology with which we surround ourselves.
